Hope to have some fun tonight!

Justine is coming over to our house tonight for dinner. He is a missionary from Grimsby, Ontario and he stayed here with us for six months and he is going back home on  Wednesday,  February 2nd  early morning.  The reason why he wanted to come to our house is because he wanted to see our new home.  I am flattered in a way because he wanted to come but my only concern is our house is an hour away from the City and its not that easy to get to our house unless you have  a car.

So we have decided to borrow the YM van but hubby has to drive it for him and two other friends, and for sure late at night tonight hubby and I would drive them back here and we will go back home again. So much hassle! If only not for friendship sake.. I will never allow hubby to do this specially now that hubby's weight had gone down probably because of the stressful day to day travel that we had.

Thinking of ways...

I am thinking of ways on how we could have more food in the house but in lesser budget. God is seems telling us to minister to them through this way. When we live far away from them before we don't feel it this way  because we don't really see how they live but as we now live closer to them we saw whats really the real thing about them and we felt bad in not seeing it this way before and in fact we even felt annoyed when they told us things in the past.

So now God wants us to be a blessing to them even just even in ways of sharing our food with them, which is really doesn't matter to me/us. In feeding his fam makes me feel like doing a feeding ministry and feeling like life has worth because I've done a ministry.

I am thinking of making spring roll tonight for next day food. I might just put it in the freezer so that it will last till next and next and the next day again.

May the Lord bless the works of our hands and the desires of our heart. May the Lords name be glorified.

High and Low

Sales Jobs and Me!

I've landed into a lot of sales job before but after a couple of months I need to resign or I am forced to resign because I'm not doing good with the job and I always got reprimands from the boss. It's really a tough job for me and mostly a struggle.

But, there are tons of people I know that really got rich because of sales jobs and I really envy them because it's easy for them to do this job. There were times before too that I made some food for sale but I asked other people or mostly hubby to sell it because I just simply won't do it.

Paksiw na Tilapia for dinner

I made a "paksiw na tilapia" last night for dinner. I like fish but hubby doesn't like fish that much so its like that I was the only one eating it. So after we have dinner since there was a lot of left over food, we decided to brought it hubby'd parents since his sister said that they haven't have dinner yet.

I like cooking and to me cooking is like an art you can do anything you like. And probably its the artsy life side of me since I felt like there's no art in me.(hihi).

Tomorrow, I am hoping to make "embutido"   to share with them as well. Crossing my finger though. I hope laziness won't hinder me. hehehehe!

Remove your tattoo

I am not a fan of tattoos and would not recommend this to friends either but I will never criticize a friend who has it too. I just have my own view about it.  I do have friends ho has it but they can't persuade me in getting one, because I know that once its tattooed in your skin... it will remain there forever unless you will get it removed and suffer the same pain when it was put in there.

There are art shops that puts tattoo and there are tattoo removal shops too.  I just can't comprehend the whole undergoing pain a person would suffer in putting and removing it.  I just hope this won't happen to my children or I would be an unloved mom!

PregVit

As hubby and I prays for a baby to come to our family, friends suggested and some even gave me  vitamins  in preparation for pregnancy  and some of it you can actually  find it at prenatalvitamins.net, specially if you don't have time to get to the drug store.

I've been taking the vitamins for more than a month now and nothing still happens, but hubby and I don't lose hope still..  because we know that God knows better and we trust in Him and still holding on to His promises. He said in Jeremiah 29:11"for I know the plans I have for you said the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a good future."

I him we put our hope, in him we put our trust, in him we offer our desires.... because in him we have given up our lives!

Acne Treatment

These past weeks was kind of a stressful weeks for Hubby and I because it was our moving time week. Its hard when you are moving far from your previous house and there is no van you can use. We do have a van to use but our problem was its schedule was so tight that we can't almost use it. There were even times that hubby and I need to bring stuff at night when the van is free.

I almost expect that I get acnes or pimples because of the stress that we felt plus the dust we get from cleaning our new house. But praise God I did not get any or else I'll be getting acne-treatments right now if I had one. Its good thing there are treatments you can find whenever acne strikes.

Hubby's Old Shoes

I cooked "pansit canton" (fried noodles) last night and we invited hubby's family for dinner. it's good to see them all came and they ate a lot too, in fact they almost ate all of the 3/4 kilo of pansit.

Hubby's dad asked for hubby's old shoes. He said its good to use when he will drive the jeepney. Hubby was hesitant to give it away because it was his favorite too. But he gave it anyway and I just encouraged him saying that its time to get a new shoes, who knows the Lord might give him a nike inflict wrestling shoes because he gave his old one to Dad (hehehe!)

Broken Sink!

After a week of moving stuff, we finally made it. All of our stuff are already moved but our hearts still remains though. We finally had our first night at our new house last night and it felt weird because its so quiet there at ten o'clock in the night while in the City where we're used to is still alive.

Our stuff are sitting all over the place, messy and unorganized. So distressful to look at! We also put some bulbs and we found out that some electrical outlets are broken and cause out some problems. And one thing more the kitchen sink is not that nice and it has rust on it. How I wished we have more money to buy new stuff and do some change again, but we have no cash anymore... we consider ourselves broke at this moment. Hopefully the next days we will financially alright, only, we don't know how would that happen. We'll leave it all to God!

Drool over LCD TV

Hubby and I were looking for a very cheap but quality tv and we even looked on flat screened and lcd one too. But goodness! when  the quality of the television is good the price is even better (haha!) means price is very high that I could not even look at the tip of it.

But on the other hand... as we looked on for tv... there were  loads of lcd computers too and I am not that only sure if there's rackmount lcd but one thing I know for sure was there were loads of lcd's there.

We'll I am not quite sure about myself today since all that comes to my mind is gadget... and there's a problem with feeling this way... and my problem is cash.

Year of the Lord's favor!

This year is another year of the Lord's favor:
*get going (don't stop)
*get over (start moving and start possessing)
*get hold (don't let go of God's promises)

-favor and multiplication
-justice vs. mercy and grace
-let go and let God

Reflections!

I haven't posted anything for the past few days in here and the rest of my blogs. I was quite occupied with a lot of things and sometimes nothingness(I absolutely did nothing) these past days. But the good thing about it was... I found time to think of what have had happened to me and hubby this past 2010.

As usual though there were loads of down moments... but the up moments still abounds. The Lord was good then and I'm hundred percent sure that He is still is the Lord I know this year 2011. Fear and uncertainties are blocking our view from the good things that we hope to happen to us this year. Good thing is... God's Word(He's promises) is here in our hearts to remind us of the great things He will do for us in the days ahead specially this year!

I am hoping to cook more good food this year too and I hope to post it all here (God willing).
