Ice Candy for Sale

We make ice candy for sale here. Our flavor in mixed fruit. The first batch we made was not that bad, the second one tasted like sugar and this third one was the most delicious one one I reckon :).

Ice Candy Recipe

- 1 can mixed fruit in
- 3 pcs. slice mango
- 1/4 sugar
- 1 can evap milk
-1 can condensed milk
-1 can all purpose cream
-1 tsp vanilla flavoring
- 1 1/2 liter water (drinking water)
-ice candy plastic

-mix fruit, sugar, milk and cream in a blender. then pour in a big bowl, add water and vanilla. (taste according to the sweetness you like). add sugar if you think it's not that sweet or add water if it's too sweet for you.

Then put it into the ice candy plastic and put in in the freezer.  Serve it after two ours and enjoy!

Trees, leaves and blower

Hubby got a chance to raked some leaves during falls time when we were in Canada last year. I was not able to because I was busy with some stuff inside the house of our host. I was overwhelmed to see it for it was loads of leaves. If I have to do it, i might do it the whole fall season. Our host laughed at hubby who was excited doing the raking thing because his kids just despise doing it.

With loads of leaves on their yard and lawns really need some professional raker's i think because doing it by yourselves is really exhausting unless you use a redmax blowers and made your life sweet and easy. With blowers is it very easy to blow the leaves into corners to put it into trash bags rather  than gathering with a rake unless you really want to tone your bugles and do it as your work out thing-y so that you won't have go to the gym anymore. 

Acne Probs

I was told that most people who has oily face usually gets pimples or worst.. they gets nasty acne. No one likes acne at all and everyone loves to have smooth glowing face. I would probably spend a lot of money just to erase acne and its mark on my face if I have one, thanks goodness I don't have those or else I'll be more insecure with myself and might not mingle with people.

Having acne this  time is not that hard because of good and effective acne products that is being produce today, unlike during those times before that those products  were few and very expensive. I remember friends tellings friends who struggles with such things to rest, eat loads of fruits and drinks loads of water.

He is Alive!

Mat 28:1  At the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.
Mat 28:2  And behold, there was a great earthquake, for the angel of the Lord descended from Heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
Mat 28:3  His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow.

The Death of Jesus

Mat 27:45  Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour.
Mat 27:46  And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?"
Mat 27:47  Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, "This man calleth for Elijah."
Mat 27:48  And straightway one of them ran and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed and gave Him to drink.
Mat 27:49  The rest said, "Let be; let us see whether Elijah will come to save him."
Mat 27:50  Jesus, when He had cried out again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
Mat 27:51  And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom, and the earth quaked and the rocks rent.
Mat 27:52  And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who slept arose,
Mat 27:53  and came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the Holy City and appeared unto many.
Mat 27:54  Now when the centurion, and those who were with him watching Jesus, saw the earthquake and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, "Truly, this was the Son of God!"
Mat 27:55  And many women were there beholding afar off, who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto Him,
Mat 27:56  among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee's children.

Youth and Billiards

Whenever I went to my church I always saw a young people hanging around in there. Seeing them makes me remember the old times where I was still very young and part of the youth group of my church.  Our church missionary house was our hang-out place, we'll just leave that place whenever it's time for us to go home.

The mission centre serves as our meeting place as well whenever our group would like to do something outside such as; food tripping at wendy's, kfc or mcdonald. We also play billiards at the nearby billiard place. It sad to say though  that in spite of those times I never learn how to really play it. All I did was watched and cheer and hand them the billiards supplies whenever they needed them. What a life! I became my friends personal billiard caddy thing-y!

But now life is different and a little complicated, going to the billiard place never came to mind anymore. All our hang-outs now are more on coffee house, restaurants, each others house and of  course the undying mission's centre.

My recipe did not turn out right :(

I was thinking of making pork humba since the other day. Pork Humba is a  dish delicacy from the Visayas and Mindanao part. Granddad used to make this when I was small. He will just put it in a sealed glass container and we won't eat it till we run out of "ulam".

My pork humba looks like adobo. hahahahaha
So I won't putting my recipe here yet. I will find out first how to really do it so that I could give you the right recipe. Anyways, the pork taste good still, so i don't need to worry for hubby's food for lunch today because I know that he will still love my cooking. :)

Monggo Beans with ground beef

I've been wanting to cook this dish since last week and I thought I could finally do it the other day when hubby came back from and told me that he came home early because he's getting me and we will stay in Makati  for the night. So there was nothing I can do but agreed with hubby and put the monggo ingredients back in the fridge.

Now that I'm back I will definitely do it today.

Here's how:

Boil monggo beans until it's cook (when it boils and the water turns green, you have to throw it first then add more water till it cooked).  Saute ground beef (you can try ground pork as well) with garlic and  onions. Then add the cooked monggo beans and let it simmer until the beef is cook. Add pepper and salt as you may like for the taste. Good if served hot.

Ingredients:
Monggo beans, ground pork or beef, garlic, onions, pepper, salt and oil.

Step stools

I am a petite woman, but wish I that I'm taller even just an inch taller. When I was in college I was the smallest among my friends and they would make fun of me most of the time. It's not that they don't care for me or anything, in fact I am most loved.

There are loads of advantages being petite but are double loads of disadvantages as well. One example of the disadvantage of being small is: when I got hospitalized, the hospital bed was so high for me that each time I need the bathroom I need someone to assist me and the medical step stools should always under my bed for my usage.

Now, I am just contented of what I got and what I am because I know this is how the Lord created me.

Spring rolls and tofu for dinner

I made spring rolls and tofu with string beans for dinner last night. I only made a few because I thought there's only hubby and me. Unfortunately two of my sister in-law arrived and another two friends dropped by as well when we we're having our meal.

Praise God for food we served satisfy everybody and there was even left-over that we send to  hubby's parents. God is really good!
