Some friends came to visit us here in Cavite. They were here overnight. We watched movies at our house.

Power Steering

Hubby was telling me about car stuff that I don't really know and actually I don't think I'm interested of, but anyhow, I listen to him still. With the situation we have now ( I mean more stuff to do for hubby at church and office plus people are missing me since I haven't been to the City or haven't visited them for a while) we are now thinking and wishing that we have a rzr power steering vehicle. I don't really care if it's second hand as long as it still in a good condition as long it won't give us any trouble.

I pray that God will indeed grant us our hearts desires. :)

For my hunter friend

My dear friend who lives in Ontario sent me some goodies the other week, and with it she sent a letter as well telling me what she'd been up to these days. Well, we all know that it's not hunting season anymore, but in her letter she told me that she went hunting with some friends and of course with her beloved hubby as well. She never mention if she had shoot a deer though, but thinking of her gone to the wild made me a little bit worried.

If she would continue this hobby of her, I might as well suggest that she get a rifle scopes to make her hunting adventure more adventure-y. This stuff would help them see and hunt more animals in the wild.

Honestly, thinking of her killing animal makes me ill. I hope she'll never shoot one. :)

Dark circles in the eyes

It has been more than a month that hubby and I decided to sleep down stairs in the dining area because it's cooler there at night at the sun won't show early plus we can watch tv to our hearts desire. But our problem now is since it's rainy season already cockroaches are on board and visits us quite often. I hate cockroaches, so we are now back to our room and our soft bed.

I do wish that in spite of late night sleeps habit that I have I won't get any dark circles in my eyes or else I'll look like hubby has been beating me all night. Not that I'm afraid I can't get rid of it because there's dark circles treatment that you can get anywhere. It's just I don't like eye dark circles, anyway, who actually does like it.

Grilled Chicken with Rosemary

I made this grilled chicken with rosemary three months ago when a friend visited us

here before he went back home to Hamilton CA. 

*chicken

*rosemary herbs

*soy sauce

*pepper

-put all ingredients together and marinate chicken for an hour, then grill.

Served it hot and happy!

Calcium Supplements

Hubby bought a low fat milk for me and I've been drinking it one glass a day. Actually I drink at night before bed because it helps me get a good night sleep. I thought that milk is the only good source of calcium until I find this best calcium supplements that helps specially when you have joint pains.

I don't suffer joints pain yet, but its really good to know that there are supplements we can get to help us when pains occurs.

Looking for a Battery?

My laptop is coming to its brokenness, its battery is going down, what's saddened me is its more than two years old and yet its battery is not doing good already. I have chosen a quite good brand when we bought that hoping its lifespan would go long, but I think I was wrong because its giving frustration already.

Hope I could easily find an inexpensive but good quality battery for my laptop just like acer batteries where you could find it online on its online catalog. I just hope and pray also that my laptop will still work long time and satisfy me and hubby its owner. :)

Waiting for God's Best

Prayer:

Lord, you know how hard waiting is for me. Please give me the patience I need to wait for Your perfect timing in everything. Help me not to settle for second best. When I'm tempted to "something happen," speak to my heart and remind me what my impatience can cost me. Help me to not only wait, bu to do so with a good attitude.

Physicians Tools Depot

Hubby's mom is has been sick for almost a week but she doesn't want to be brought to the hospital for check-up. She said she will to a self medication first and if it won't get better then she'll agree that we'll take her to the hospital. Sigh! how come it's hard to convince older people what to do, they always thought that they knew better even when they're not. duh!

If only I am a doctor I probably would see to it that I also have some medical tools at our house so that it would be easier to take care older people. Actually tools like this is we can find at ekg, here are loads of physician tools at a very good price. 

Wine, Spirits and Friends

My husband treated me to a fine dine in restaurant a few months back. We both have enjoyed the food and the drinks the restaurant have served us.
Hubby and I are no drinkers but we ordered wine during this special time. I don't drink that much or I mean I just drink occasionally, mostly with friends during our get together fellowship thing-y, but I do love wines with cheese. I've learned to do such when I happen to be invited by a friend to family beach get-away and her mom prepared a very good wine and a very good cheese as well, and from then on I love doing such as well.

October last year when we visited a family friend in Toronto, our friend gave us a very special wine they bought somewhere there. We kept the wine until we came home to Manila. Indeed it taste very good and I was impressed of how good the wine is.

We haven't been to any bars as friends promised the would bring us when we were in Toronto because our time were limited and also our friend's although they have brought us to a lot of fine-dine-in restaurants. Yet it would be very fun to see, taste and experience bar setting in a different culture and taste. But anyhow, I would give my all just to experience the taste of wine bar albany New York when I got the opportunity to visit this beautiful place. I have tried applying a visa though to visit some friends here but unfortunately I got denied. I do believe that someday I'll be able to see this place and visits a lot of bars and drink a lot of wines, also I will try all the food I have never tried before.

One thing I love about visiting other places is their culture, it's different from where I have been. When we say culture: in it is enclosed the people, place, fashion and of course the food.

Love Notes

"Love makes all things beautiful". We have once a local disk jockey who's program in radio was called love notes. This person talks all about love quotes, love poems, love letters and everything about love.  Love notes or love poems is one way of showing an affection to the other person, and this is very familiar specially  with the young people.

Love notes are good to read as well and very inspiring. A heart-broken person will somehow continue on believing and loving after he/she read something inspiring and would not remain bitter for long time.

Need Air-conditioning?

It's too hot here in our house these past few weeks aside from the rainy day the other day though but the rest of the days are really scorching hot even inside the house. We have used two electric fans and still sweating, have showered thrice and still sweating, huh! I think what we need is an air conditioning, but to think that it is quite expensive to have one in here, not to include the electric bill plus the repairs cost when its broken, I don't know, having air conditioning is probably just a dream to me.

Well, our office has  fully air-conditioned though, but the air conditioning has been broken a lot and it took a week or two for the repair man to fixed it. If we only have lived in Atlanta, there's probably no problem for us to get a new air conditioning because of Air Conditioning Atlanta  is a very good place to look for one.

Eating left-over food from last night

....friends came to eat lunch with us, and the food we just ate were left-over food from last night (hubby's little dinner party with his family).  Yes, it was hubby's birthday yesterday, but the celebration was a joint celebration because there were three of theme celebrates their birthdays this month (his dad's was-May 1, hubby's-May 5, and his younger sister Abi-is in May 16).

We cook fried noodles or pansit canton, fried tilapia, and I tried to make chicken cordon bleu for the first time, then Abi brought the cake and sodas. Aside from hubby's family minus his dad, hubby's aunt and uncle who lives   in Malabon came just to see hubby. Good thing we have food to offer them, after all it was good to see some of hubby's side of the family.

Drug Rehab

Hubby and I went to visit my in-laws the other night. The mother was there and had told us a lot of stories about hubby's uncles and aunts. As she was telling me all these things that happens with their life before made me feel nervous a little. She told us about the things their drug addict uncle did to them when hubby was still a little boy, and how the uncle tried to kill them with a knife. Goodness, I am very much thankful that hubby is still alive till these days and is my beloved after all those family testing times.

I just wonder why they didn't brought their uncle to a drug rehabilitation center for a treatment because with that everything would be fine and it will be a huge help to the addict person. Sending a person to a drug rehab cost a lot of money though, but what we will choose the money or wellness of the person?  Some parents would give their all just to make the life of their kids back to normal and out of drugs, even if it means "all money gone".
