Hubby's phone

Hubby needs a new phone because his is so outdated and broken. We are just waiting for the proper time :) when I say the proper time, what I really meant is when we have the funds for it. As of now he is contented of using it as long as it usable still. I have a friend though that bought a unlocked phone just last week. I took hold of it yesterday and its a really nice one. I am happy that he got a new one though since his old one looked don't good anymore since its overused!
As for hubby he can't do anything yet but wait for a while until our funds is ready I mean at hand for a new cellphone.

Baby Stuff

Baby... baby.. baby... ooooohhh! This is been I'm hearing with the kids all around, part of a song from Justine Bieber. Well, I am not writing about the though because if that songs is meant for girls mine is for a real baby that I would love to have someday.
Most of my married couple friends has babies now, while hubby and I haven't. We've been trying for quite sometime but nothing happens yet. But I am definitely confident in God's promise that He will give offspring. All I need to do now is wait!
Well talking about babies, I just remember that when you have a baby you also need a ergo baby carrier to carry your baby around. My friend's baby is not born yet and still in his moms tummy but his aunts just love him so much that he has three baby carrier, wow! can't help but wish that mine would come soon too. Thinking that my friend might give me some of her baby carriers. lol!

Fried fish

On Sunday, we went to one of my teams partner church to accompany a new arrived missionary friend. We thought that we are going to some restaurant for lunch, but our surprised a member who was blesses with our presence invited us to have lunch at their house instead. Of course we said yes. I enjoyed the fried fish, it was tasty, and aside from the fish we also had sinigang na hipon (wow!) It was hubby who enjoyed the sinigang though since hipon is one of his favorite seafoods.
As for me, I am just more than contented of my fried fish. hehehehe!

Pictures for Print

My friend tagged me a photo of four years ago that she uploaded on her facebook account. As a browse through the picture I can't help but smile since those pictures reminds me of happy days.  Also, in the picture includes my dear brother whom I don't see for three years now. I really missed him so much that I would like to color print his picture. I can't do it directly on our office computer since our printer prints only black and white.
I am hoping that my sister, myself and hubby would be able to see him next year because we are planning to go home for a short visit. It would be great to see my family again after such a long time.

Lost and Found Wallet

Hubby came home so anxious last night because he lost his wallet that contains our missionary ID, his driver license, our ATM, SM advantage card and some other receipts and id pictures. I was sad because it will take us sometimes and would cost us money to get for a new one.
Today, we decided to go and get a drivers license for hubby, but before doing that, he also went to his school to see if they have it there. So I waited for him at a restaurant in front of his school because it was lunch time. ooh goodness he came back to me smiling because staff of his school found it. whew! thank you Lord! What a beautiful day!

T.G.I Fridays

A week ago the SBC team brought us to T.G.I Fridays for dinner as their way of thanking us for coordinating things for them. It was fun and I was full too.
I ordered the burger and to my surprised it was so big that it won't fit in my big mouth. I did not finished it, but it was still more than half so I decided to bring it home.
Hubby and I had planned of going there actually after the teams gone, but thanks to the Lord for He made it more fun for us in that place with friends. I felt so much blessed as always.

this is what I ordered, goodness, so yummy!

Malunggay Ice Candy

Two weeks ago I went to a street kids center and was given an opportunity to help the staff prepare the kids food. Part of their menu was an ice candy made of malunggay (malunggay is a vegetable that has many health use).
They: took some malunggay leaves, boiled it. They took all the leaves leaving just the water alone, pour out some  cassava flour, stirred it until it went smooth or soupy. Then added up some sugar and evaporated milk. Put it aside to cool for 20 minutes and put it in a small ice candy plastic, put it in the freezer for two hours then serve with a smile.
Imagine the kids face turns light. They enjoyed it so much!

some sample of ice candy (not madeof malunngay though).

Hubby and I thought of having roasted chicken for dinner. It's not that I will make it myself but I am thinking of buying it outside instead, it's easier that way. :)
I am thinking of buying a grande starbucks for my friend too and another one for me of course. It's gonna be a good night tonight! All deserve a good night after a busy stressful day.

Last week I was with some missionaries who work for the street children in Alabang Philippines. Part of the program was to feed those starving kids, so I helped the twelve English Youth prepared the food. So now, I have learned a new pork chop recipe. Soon I will be trying this with my hubby! Yay!

engredients:
prok chop
kalamansi or lemon

tenderized the pork (have it your way), squeeze kalamansi or lemon juice to it, dip with soy sauce, put some pepper and dip it with the beaten eggs. set aside for five minutes then fry.
Yummy!
