Oh rain please leave

It's almost a month that rain and flood caused most Filipino's hard times. The typhoons just love visiting us. I hope the map coming to us will be tear off so that they won't find it's way here. I pray that God will bring them to a place where there is no people and no one will be harmed.

Strong wind was banging our windowpane last night. At first, it's hard to sleep co'z it was loud and the fear that the rain might come in again just like the way it came when typhoon "gener" passed by. it flooded in our room. I just don't know though if putting a window toppers would help keep the water rain from getting inside.

I really pray that the rain would stop and my "kababayan's" will be able to get a normal life again.

Friends and houses

..with my friend Jiji's house since yesterday. My daughter Ziah and I went there for a sleepover since our Daddy was not coming home last night. I had some fun because I was with a friend and it really feels good to have a girl friend who is near. We cooked, we ate, watched tv, did some long chat about life in general (our lives) and a lot of other girly stuff.

We both love to decorate our house (our way). hahaha. So every now and then we talked about what we're gonna do first, buy first, renovate first with our house. She told me she would install cabinets soon, while as for me I told her that I might buy an oven first early even without the house first so that by the time we move we have a new one already. Well, I might also needs some strapping tools for whatever purpose it may serve me as I pack and unpack my thing for moving and settling.

I hope and pray that God will give us favor and grants us our hearts desires.

Fixing leather couch

I love leather couches but  I'm hesitant to go for it co'z it feels like when it's ruined it's ruined forever and there's no way it will be fixed. I don't know though where I  get this thinking, maybe because all the leather couches that my friends have has tears and cuts and it remains that way until they throw it away. So I told myself not to buy a leather couch even though I like the comfort it gives.

But somehow, something has change that thinking, I never knew that you can still fix a busted leather thing, and if you want to know how see here at leather world tech and you'll be happy for what you've found. I think I might  I want to get a leather couch now for my new house. Actually I really wish that our house is big so that I'll be able to put more furnitures.

It is finished :)

I have two friends who are sisters and I can really say that they seems like a sister to me. With them I can be myself with no pretention at all, with them I can think loud and I'm thankful that the Lord have given them to me, and of course I love them as my siblings. We lived for over four years before the Lord called us to missions of our own, we stayed at the same roof  at the same room and showered together, ate at one plate, slept in one bed and most of all believe and worship on the same one God!

Last week my girl friend (one of the sister) told me over a text message telling me that her house was messy because her floor is being tiled of and even suggested that when we get our new house we should make sure to put tiles on the floor first before moving in, I got annoyed by her suggestion because hubby and I suggested that thing first with her so that it would not be hard for her but she did not listen and continue her moving in in spite of no tile  floors yet. So when she said that it's too messy and dusty, it got me annoyed and told her back saying "I told you so!". She did not text back and so I presumed  that she was annoyed as well.

Well, I saw her at church this morning and she greeted  me with all smile telling me that her house looked nice with its new tiles. Of course I'm happy when I saw her happy and proud of her success. I hope that her next project will be putting a garage floor tiles co'z I know that soon enough she'll  have her car.

I pray that I'll be next too :)

Truly.. a hassle

Just got a text from friend  asking me if their electricity bill from last month have arrived already.  I text back telling her it did a few days ago but told her that it's just today that I got chance to tell her. While talking to her through text, her new house came to my mind and I remember the mess, the not tiled floor, the no curtain yet windows and the scratched new paint wall due to the almost not to fit huge big bed frame they have on the door. In fact we have to take off the door from the butt hinges just to bring their stuff inside. It was a challenged then for friends who helped moved to put all their stuff  inside.

So thinking of all those things made me say something not quite good to her (like.. "you should have made that house ready first to move in before moving in.") It probably offended her co'z she did not text me back anymore. She probably is thinking that I  questioned their decision of moving into right away. Actually it's none of my business to intervene, but as a friend, I think it's just right to voice out my thoughts co'z I see the hassle  it gives her and she even feel like not liking the house, and thinking that it's your permanent house and you didn't like living in it is a horrible feeling. At least if she and her husband made it good to live in  first before moving in, she might  have had love it.

She's now actually asking me to visit her, but the thing is... I can't co'z because of the distance we have, I  just can't go visit her without hubby taking me and my baby there :(
