Definitely for Hubby

Hubby is out of his beloved band recording for a week now because he has a job now. His job required his full time attention (I mean.. from dawn to dark. lol!). But I could tell that even though he love what he is doing right now he also misses the recording so much. he even asked me if he could drop by at the recording studio yesterday just to see his band mates.

Hubby and friends when giving the opportunity would always drop by at any music shops to see what's new. Hubby would always look for a string just don't have any idea though  if it's ibanez aeg10ne knowing his guitar is ibanez, probably it is just not sure.

My baby and Music

As a mom to my lovely one year old daughter Ziah,  I felt like I'm planning my baby's life and think that it looks like not right at all. I should be praying for it not planning it.

This is me: I want my daughter to be like her daddy who is good with music. Hubby knows how to play guitar and he's good at it. He also sings well and I would like my baby to be like that. I want her to learn how to play guitar, play a Roland Keyboards or just any keyboard, play bass and can also do drums.

See....? I told yah... I feel like a "just do it" mom and I don't like it.

Flute+english horn=guitar

Tomorrow night I will go with hubby to Paul's place where the music recording is being done. We are thinking of bringing our baby though but might anymore co'z it's not good for her to stay up late and besides we're just taking the bike(our motorbike) co'z it's cheaper that way too. But definitely we will going to miss her and even now as I type this post, the thought of leaving here made me miss her already.

Hubby told me that when he was young he used to play the flute and later on he wishes to learn how to play the english horn, yet since the latter is quite have a price hubby never had gotten the chance to even just hold one. Now, hubby is a good lead guitar player. he can also play acoustic very good. :)

Hubby and his gadget-ey!

Hubby and his band is doing progress when talking about their music recording. I never knew that it takes ages to do music records, it's never an easy thing specially when you want quality. Having Richie (a guy name) and Paul (another guy name) lol! to help the band starts it recording is indeed a blessing from heaven. After ten years of waiting and praying to make this thing happen, and living in it now is indeed another dream fulfillment. God is indeed alive and working to grant us our dreams.

Hubby on the other hand is (I don't know how to call it) busy cleaning, wiping, polishing his guitars and is always eager to go to Paul's house for the recording. I never seen hubby so happy after this "meeting-Paul and Richie-plus-music recording" thing. May it be early or late coming home from recording... hubby is always has loads of amazing stories to tell. I hope though that he would try using  hagerty silver polish for his guitars so that he wouldn't be spending all his times holding, examining, polishing his guitar co'z it rocked me to my core and yelled at him (soo annoying!).

Anyways, the band together with their wives (not that the band has many wives, but what I mean is.. the band member wife.. just stressing it. lol!) are all excited for this coming Sunday Night... co'z it's mean recording time again. :) We are all excited to visits Paul and his wife and their house and of course we are excited to see Bernard too.

SELAH band

My hubby's band is in need of...

... a "Home Studio Recording" to use for their recording. Hubby's band mates are all church workers and as a church worker they don't get much money, but I am not saying that they are not blessed because they may be lacking in financial thing and other material thing I know for sure and a witness that they are truly blessed because the Lord never forsakes them.

Anyhow, to those who have more in terms of financial and has a heart in helping Christian bands to pursue their dreams and would like to donate some of these:
1.audio interface(AUDIO BOX USB)=149.00 USD
2.condenser microphone(MXL 990)=139.00 USD
3.monitor speakers(PM0.4n Powered Studio Monitors)=159.00 USD
4.mic stand and mic cable=50.00USD
But if you buy this altogether in a promo package it just 319.99 USD.

You could also include a Roland Drums co'z the drummer is in need of one also for as we know though he can use the church's drums but he can only use it at church but when they are invited outside of church he can't bring it with him which is really hard for the band to do concerts.

Their band's name is "SELAH"-this band sings and worship lead whenever they are called/asked to do so. One of their dream is to do concerts outside the Philippines. When this things happens, it means fulfillment of a dream and a promise. These band/team are not regular outstanding people co'z each one has an amazing/life changing testimony of how the Lord has change their chaotic and hopeless life into a meaningful one.

Play drums like a rockstar

Staring at this awesome drum set made me think back of some situation three years ago when I was just new member of  the Youth Mobilization team ( a religious organization that helps the unreached youth). I went with a co-team mates to a tribe up north, a four hours drive from the Manila. Their place was up in the mountain, a very tiny village but with beautiful people.

They have  a very small old but cement church with really nothing in the altar but the presence of God probably. I don't see any musical instruments unlike in my church in Manila where we've got all that our worship team needs. But all I could see in this small church was a water jug  sitting down in the corner of the altar, and when I asked the pastor what the jug for, he said that they uses it as a drum. My heart was broken and my eyes fail me co'z tears run down. All I could say during that time was a prayer that may the Lord sees their heart of the people there  and hear my prayer of blessing upon those people. And lo and behold when I came back after a month a drum set was sitting in there new and shining.

I just forgot the the drum set brand co'z I was focus on the whole thing. It might be a Tama Drums or something. I don't know... co'z all I know then that the youth of the church went singing and dancing and worshiping.  For sure they enjoyed playing with the band specially now that they have a keyboard and a guitar. This thing below is actually the best, love it!
