Hubby and his gadget-ey!

Hubby and his band is doing progress when talking about their music recording. I never knew that it takes ages to do music records, it's never an easy thing specially when you want quality. Having Richie (a guy name) and Paul (another guy name) lol! to help the band starts it recording is indeed a blessing from heaven. After ten years of waiting and praying to make this thing happen, and living in it now is indeed another dream fulfillment. God is indeed alive and working to grant us our dreams.

Hubby on the other hand is (I don't know how to call it) busy cleaning, wiping, polishing his guitars and is always eager to go to Paul's house for the recording. I never seen hubby so happy after this "meeting-Paul and Richie-plus-music recording" thing. May it be early or late coming home from recording... hubby is always has loads of amazing stories to tell. I hope though that he would try using  hagerty silver polish for his guitars so that he wouldn't be spending all his times holding, examining, polishing his guitar co'z it rocked me to my core and yelled at him (soo annoying!).

Anyways, the band together with their wives (not that the band has many wives, but what I mean is.. the band member wife.. just stressing it. lol!) are all excited for this coming Sunday Night... co'z it's mean recording time again. :) We are all excited to visits Paul and his wife and their house and of course we are excited to see Bernard too.

Sad and Sudden

Almost three months ago when we were about to move to our recent house when I got into a "not good talk" with our new neighbor. I wasn't prepared for "not nice" neighbors then because our former neighbors were friendly. So it got me so annoyed that my lady neighbor to be gave me a bad impression, and so, as we moved, we automatically (though not purposely) create an enemy... and it made me real sad :(.

So bad rumors about us spread and I have a plus plus plus sadness because I'm a Christian here and supposedly trying to get friends but whenever we come out of our house their eyebrows went up. I was so annoyed to the max that it took me awhile to find courage and strength to finally accept the fact that I need to forgive and love them no matter how bruised my feelings would be.

Then came a news that the lady's mom's had stroke and finally died. I'm sad that things happen so  quickly and that I wasn't able to even make friends with her and now, she's gone, forever.  The good thing though about this situation was, I was able to visit and extend my condolences and finally say hi with a smile to the grieving family including the lady who said nasty things about me.  They told us that if only the doctors did not assume their mom health issue and if they only had medical equipment to use as first aid as they were waiting for some medical professional to help them, maybe, just maybe things would be different now.

Yet now, their mom had left them for good now and that's remain from her  was their pond memories  with her. My heart goes to the lady's son who has sickness in his very young age and it was his grand-mom who really takes care of him and now that she's gone his life would be different and gloomy.

Wine, Spirits and Friends

My husband treated me to a fine dine in restaurant a few months back. We both have enjoyed the food and the drinks the restaurant have served us.
Hubby and I are no drinkers but we ordered wine during this special time. I don't drink that much or I mean I just drink occasionally, mostly with friends during our get together fellowship thing-y, but I do love wines with cheese. I've learned to do such when I happen to be invited by a friend to family beach get-away and her mom prepared a very good wine and a very good cheese as well, and from then on I love doing such as well.

October last year when we visited a family friend in Toronto, our friend gave us a very special wine they bought somewhere there. We kept the wine until we came home to Manila. Indeed it taste very good and I was impressed of how good the wine is.

We haven't been to any bars as friends promised the would bring us when we were in Toronto because our time were limited and also our friend's although they have brought us to a lot of fine-dine-in restaurants. Yet it would be very fun to see, taste and experience bar setting in a different culture and taste. But anyhow, I would give my all just to experience the taste of wine bar albany New York when I got the opportunity to visit this beautiful place. I have tried applying a visa though to visit some friends here but unfortunately I got denied. I do believe that someday I'll be able to see this place and visits a lot of bars and drink a lot of wines, also I will try all the food I have never tried before.

One thing I love about visiting other places is their culture, it's different from where I have been. When we say culture: in it is enclosed the people, place, fashion and of course the food.

Eating left-over food from last night

....friends came to eat lunch with us, and the food we just ate were left-over food from last night (hubby's little dinner party with his family).  Yes, it was hubby's birthday yesterday, but the celebration was a joint celebration because there were three of theme celebrates their birthdays this month (his dad's was-May 1, hubby's-May 5, and his younger sister Abi-is in May 16).

We cook fried noodles or pansit canton, fried tilapia, and I tried to make chicken cordon bleu for the first time, then Abi brought the cake and sodas. Aside from hubby's family minus his dad, hubby's aunt and uncle who lives   in Malabon came just to see hubby. Good thing we have food to offer them, after all it was good to see some of hubby's side of the family.

Youth and Billiards

Whenever I went to my church I always saw a young people hanging around in there. Seeing them makes me remember the old times where I was still very young and part of the youth group of my church.  Our church missionary house was our hang-out place, we'll just leave that place whenever it's time for us to go home.

The mission centre serves as our meeting place as well whenever our group would like to do something outside such as; food tripping at wendy's, kfc or mcdonald. We also play billiards at the nearby billiard place. It sad to say though  that in spite of those times I never learn how to really play it. All I did was watched and cheer and hand them the billiards supplies whenever they needed them. What a life! I became my friends personal billiard caddy thing-y!

But now life is different and a little complicated, going to the billiard place never came to mind anymore. All our hang-outs now are more on coffee house, restaurants, each others house and of  course the undying mission's centre.

Meet People today!

Hubby and I went to meet some people this morning. Meeting someone you don't know or whom you will see the first is not a good feeling. It feels awkward, and as for me I have this suspicious or negative thoughts sometimes towards the person. And because of those thoughts I often prayed that the Lord will protect us from people whose desire is to hurt others. This is the same thing when a new found friend would like to meet me at MOA, I felt so nervous meeting her so I asked hubby to come with me :).
Awkward suspicious feeling is quite normal when new things comes our way, it maybe simple something like HDMI cables or just anything in general. Our suspicion is there if having this is good or not, it is worth the penny or not. As for me and hubby... meeting kuya RB today was fun!
