Beef patty with cheese and mushroom sauce

I was watching "kusina master" this morning and got really interested that chief boy was making a beef patty with cheese and mushroom sauce. It's very easy to do, in fact I don't need to see a recipe to do it.  If I only have a ground beef and a cheese I might do that for dinner, but since I don't have the ingredients I will just blog it here anyway to remind me that I need to make this someday :))

Ingredients:
(for the beef patty)
ground beef, onion,  grated cheese, egg, flour, salt and pepper, oil

Combine all ingredients,  then grease a pan with oil and fry the patty till it brown cook.

(for the sauce)
chop mushroom, flour, salt and pepper, water.

Saute' mushroom, add flour, add water then seasoned with salt and pepper, let it simmer for two minutes, and set aside till you needed it.

Make them smile

(A post I copied from a friend)

Tomorrow, a lot of creatures will visit your door. Be open minded. The child who is grabbing more than one piece of candy might have poor fine motor skills. The child who takes forever to pick out one piece of candy might have motor planning issues. The child who does not say "trick or treat" or "thank you" might be painfully shy, non-verbal, or selectively mute. If you cannot understand their words
, they may struggle with developmental apraxia of speech. They are thankful in their hearts and minds. The child who looks disappointed when he sees your bowl might have a life-threatening allergy. The child who isn't wearing a costume at all might have SPD or autism. Be kind, be patient, smile, pretend you understand. It's everyone's Halloween. Make a parent feel good by making a big deal of their special child.

For breakfast

This I want for Christmas day breakfast serve in my table.
How I wish that hubby would prepare a meal like this for me as a gift
for that special day.

A coffee, a toasted bread, sunny side up egg, and bacon.
Oh, what would be a beautiful morning! :)

Oh my...

I haven't update my blog for a long time. Oh well, I became busy these days looking for online earning sites. I did find one but the earning is slower than walk of a turtle. I have written a book I think if I have compiled all my posts and responses for only about two weeks now. I think I earn one dollar a week. hahaha

How I wish I could find some online earning site that is really legit and would sign me in for jobs, writing jobs  or paid post links.

can't help myself and post this

Need a printer

Hubby's sister was mad because she was asked by her mom to do her younger brother homework. She made a research about a map and she needs to go to an internet cafe to print it co'z we don't have one. I just don't understand why my hubby's youngest brother doesn't want to do his school assignment. He always asked his mom's helped to do it knowing he's eleven years old now and should be doing things on his own.

I really wish that we'll be bale to get a printer co'z not only hubby's siblings needs it, we too, needs it co'z hubby needs his outline printed whenever he has a preaching slot at church. It will be good to have a printer that can print a dymo address label co'z we might need that when we have a house church. Thinking of planting one where we live in God's time.

I do wish and pray that the Lord would not only give us a printer but would also give me cash for sister in-law tuition fee. :)

Just read... and think!

Selah Band website

Everything happens for a reason-this I believe is very true. My hubby and his friend (who is also his band mates) started their music recording almost three months ago and they planned to record twelve songs but up to now they only finished three or four songs and there's six songs more to go.

A lot of things happened already. The song master's wife brother died over a month ago and just recently his dad passed away as well. So their recording was kept on being canceled or postponed. I wish they could create music websites or just a website for their songs and their band (could be a "Selah Band" official music website). I promise to promote it and visit it often. :)

T-shirt designs

My team leader announced a month ago about a t-shirt design contest. Part of me would like to tell hubby to send designs knowing he is artistic. Who knows his design might get through, but I know hubby would not do it co'z he has friends who really make t-shirts designs.

I really find it very interesting to see people do a t-shirt printing specially when you personalized it. There are loads of customized t-shirt printing these days everyone can find like custom t-shirts at ShirtsForAnything.com. Or you can even find it also in malls. But if you want one and but no time to go shopping for it just go online then and you'll find a bunch.

Just think of it

Going for a Desktop

Thinking of getting a desktop when we move to our new house is quite tempting. Actually I've been wanting to get a desktop since I get married. But I cannot let go of my netbook as well. It's good to have one when I just would like to lay down on my bed or just sit in the couch or simply traveling and browsing. I can't even believe myself why I have pledge my netbook to in-laws knowing I soo need it.

Well, this netbook of mine is just a year old and yet it's too slow to open files specially when it's just turned on, it would take three minutes before you can fully use it. I believe that it's because of the applications I have downloaded. I really think I need a pc tuneup to get this baby run smoothly again.

I really wish I could get a desktop soon.

Christmas is coming soon

It is coming very soon and I am both happy and a bit worried. I like Christmas atmosphere and I like how people are being kind and giving. But what makes me worried is because I know some people are expecting gifts from me (specially my godchildren and family). My fear is... that I might disappoint them again just like last Christmas where we were not able to give gifts because we don't have budget.

So this time I pray that I'll be able to give a gifts to them and we'll able to get personalized xmas ornaments for our house too. Hubby's mom just told us the other day that we should put on Christmas decors as early as September so that we could enjoy it longer :).

I'm afraid that we will frustrate her co'z there is no way we will be doing that!

God will make a way

Oh rain please leave

It's almost a month that rain and flood caused most Filipino's hard times. The typhoons just love visiting us. I hope the map coming to us will be tear off so that they won't find it's way here. I pray that God will bring them to a place where there is no people and no one will be harmed.

Strong wind was banging our windowpane last night. At first, it's hard to sleep co'z it was loud and the fear that the rain might come in again just like the way it came when typhoon "gener" passed by. it flooded in our room. I just don't know though if putting a window toppers would help keep the water rain from getting inside.

I really pray that the rain would stop and my "kababayan's" will be able to get a normal life again.

Making a small place spacious to look at

Actually I have hard time thinking on how to make our small place a little spacious to look at. I love spacious places, but my house is not like that and I don't like it and there's nothing I can do at it this time, much that I want to renovate it but just can't co'z where out of budget.

I don't even know where to put the cabinets specially now that some store are offering discount cabinets that are really nice and the quality is good as well.

I really hope that things would come out good!

Again

Hubby and went to the area where our soon to be house was/is being built. We've been meaning to go for a visit for the past months but something always comes up that need to prioritized, so the planned visitation was being postponed again and again and again... until I got so upset then he finally find time and prioritized our visit.

If we only had written down the plans we have to beautify our place, there must be a tons of it. If only winter takes place here in the Philippines I probably have bought a corner fireplaces to warm us up during cold days. On the other hand though I am not wishing any snow here co'z I know a lot of my co-Filipinos will suffer from it. I just want to experience when I'm outside the Philippines or go holiday with places that snows.
Hubby and I was in this place two years ago.
I'm very glad to see this again and to know that there is a beautiful falls aside from the many others that I haven't seen still. This just means that I need to go back there again. hahaha.

car repair

The monsoon rain has stop pouring down. It also stop the water from rising and causing flood almost all over the Philippines. It did left its ugly mark that most Filipino's dreaded, it actually left some devastated.

There are loads of houses, cars and other expensive stuff that still submerge in flood water even though at some place the water had subsided. I know that most flooded cars can't be use again co'z its forever broken and can't be fixed. But some are lucky enough to get just some minor repairs or others just needed a new cover set or honda seat covers to make their car new looking again.

I would probably cry the longest when my car get flooded and won't run again (just thinking if I have one though, but I don't have any yet).

Business Opps.

I've been praying and looking and planning for small business opportunities. I've been telling friends whenever I could think of one. In fact I have started doing small business with friends but it didn't really prosper probably because I'm not ready in terms of capital maybe.

I was looking at some tv program about small food business. Looking at it kind of tempting to venture to such. What hinders me though is I cannot do it alone, I need someone whose passion is cooking food and selling it. I can cook but I am slow and very shy to promote advertise my product. I can actually do a small catering business specially that is it easier to get  catering supplies these days. I can do other things too but what really my hearts desire is to put up a small cafe business where coffee is my main product.

My cousin

I don't know how she dis this... but I like it.

Struggling?

I am glad I don't belong to a rich and famous family. Those that can afford anything under the sun with it comes to money matters. I do believe that those people who has more has more secrets too.

My family are poor but not really the poorest of all. We are kind of first level poor if there's such thing as that. But even though I lack of most things, I'm happy that I don't have identity problems, unlike with some people specially who has money, they need some paternity tests just to make sure they belong to such family.

Well, the world may get all the materials things I have but I won't let go the true richness, the only treasure I have... that is Christ Jesus that is in me :).

A mom's love

In 50/50 status

I was thinking of  the going  out of the country trip we're planning these pas few days. My family is planning of joining a prayer conference our mission organization is hosting this coming October.  Actually I am kind of worried because we don't have the money for it. We planned of saving some amount  but it's hard to do it co'z  we don't have much and the little we got is just enough for the needs we have. I don't know... but I really wanted to go. I'll just trust in the Lord co'z if He wants us there he'll provide for us.

I cannot help but think of out trip to Macau three years ago. I really love it, I love the hotel where we stayed at and love the place where we went. I also like the dancing fountain in the park or probably it was one of the five star hotel park. If only I could have an outdoor water fountains in our house I probably get one. But sad to say I can't co'z our yard is small and there's no room for an outdoor fountain.

quotes

Hubby is getting a new cell phone

Hubby and his sister is kind of arguing but really not, their voices are high kind of shouting but really not. That is only a siblings way of loving each other. But when people outside could hear them, they probably would thing their fighting.

Actually... the topic of their loud discussions are cell phones. Hubby is thinking of getting a new cell phone co'z his is old and almost busted, while mine is new but has a poor cell reception and that is annoys me. I am giving my new phone to hubby but he won't take it too, he said he'd rather get a not high-tech but brand new one than getting a high-tech one but poor in cell reception.

With God's help

Token: for remembrance

Looking at some customized coins made me think of giving it out  on special occasions as a token of remembrance of the event. I don't have any event coming though but I know there's more coming soon. If I have only thought it before my daughter's first birthday I probably would have consider.

I think that handing out personalized coins is better than giving out other stuff, but I do love the ref magnet that my friend makes.
Probably in my silver wedding and that is still a long time in the making.

My sis in-law is in the list

...so proud of her. :)

Looking for this?

Three more months and it's Christmas season again.  I know that more are saving money for such time. The spirit of giving and forgiving will abound again. And as for me, I'm loving Christmas and I am more excited this time specially now that I have a little girl that would exciting to open gifts.

I remember Christmas three years ago when a team of Americans came to join in us in our ministry to give Christmas parties to a lot of Filipino children (who are in our ministry). One of the team leader were wearing a compression stocking and we take extra effort so that he won't get his legs wet.  I love the man so much even though a lot of people thought of him a very hard man, but hubby and I just love him so much and we look forward of seeing him again this year.

Well, if you guys are looking for this item item just browse online and you'll see a lot.

For Some

The sun is out and is smiling brightly at us.
I know that most of Filipinos are rejoicing specially those who are staying at some evacuation area who really misses home... but actually where is... home for them?

I was watching news on tv two nights ago and I could see floating houses, actually those houses are being taken away by strong currents. How would you  feel when you left your house and it was still standing there, but when you come there's nothing in there anymore not even a trace of it.

For some they're thankful that only a house has been taken by the flood but others are grieving because it has taken their loved ones and they are not only planning a funeral but is doing it. There is no more devastating feeling that seeing your beloved inside a coffin.

can't help myself

I could tell that I'm only a human being weak and battered by life. Due to needs I can't help myself wondering what life would be if I choose to work secular instead of giving my life full time to the work of Jesus Christ. Sometimes I wonder how would it feel to sit in a desk with your name on it or having someone find you a name plates for desk co'z you are a very important person  is such company.

But every time these thought wander in my mind shame comes to me to. For I know in myself that what I have experienced in my life a mere employee would never experienced. With all those paid vacations, good life, good food and good friends. For sure I won't get all these through working in a secular company.

I praise God that He chose me to be His employee and I know that I have a desk with my name engrave on it in heaven.

Beautiful wedding bond

The moment I saw this ring on it's online store, I can't help but wish ours are like this. This is really a cool wedding ring specially with engraved God on it.

Hubby and I are thinking of renewing our vows when our tenth anniversary will come and it's no sooner than six years, and I hope that the six more years are enough time for us to see things in our marriage God's way and hope too that during this time we'll be able to prepare ourselves and money for this said event.

Thinking though too that hubby will get us a scott kay cobalt  wedding bond just like the one below.

Grandma's and grand kids

I was browsing through my facebook page when I saw this beautiful poem. This made stop, stare, read and smile. I can't help but imagine myself with my grand kids when my time comes.

A ballet dancer?

We were watching some tv show the other day and out of nowhere hubby looked at our daughter and said that he would send our daughter to a ballet school if she's interested in learning ballet dancing. Of course as a mom I was happy and proud to hear that knowing it came form him. And knowing hubby he'll really make things possible for our daughter. He's the best daddy in the world for me.

Well, ballet dancing is not really my choice for her but if it's what she want... well then what could I do. I probably would give her a nutcracker ballet jewelry to encourage her. I know she'll be happy to have that jewelry.

This made me cry...

..for a lot of reasons. I felt like I'm being judge.

Thinking

I'm watching a program on tv today and I can't help myself wondering how much these celebrities get every tv appearances specially with the commercials or advertisement they make. I wonder if... I'm the one in their shoes how much would I earn, what would I do with my money, would I still help the people I'm helping at the moment , and would I still care with the people I care today?

One thing for sure though that I will do is get a life insurance for myself and for my family specially that life insurance without physical or no medical exam. How I really wish I can get my dad and my pastor a life insurance. You probably could understand why I want to get one for my dad but probably is wondering about getting one for my pastor. Well... some pastors are being neglected. They kept on working for the church and for the people but no one really sees their personal needs.

I really wish I earn more so that I could help more.

Definitely for Hubby

Hubby is out of his beloved band recording for a week now because he has a job now. His job required his full time attention (I mean.. from dawn to dark. lol!). But I could tell that even though he love what he is doing right now he also misses the recording so much. he even asked me if he could drop by at the recording studio yesterday just to see his band mates.

Hubby and friends when giving the opportunity would always drop by at any music shops to see what's new. Hubby would always look for a string just don't have any idea though  if it's ibanez aeg10ne knowing his guitar is ibanez, probably it is just not sure.

Online stuff

I'm not really into gadget and new tech, I don't know much about online stuff too. All I know is posting random topics and sometimes posting here my weird thoughts. I know how to search too and web surfing but I can't even download a simple apps. That's how bad I am.

I wonder though that if I own an online business I might be needing a e&o insurance to keep my business rolling. Well, this thing is really recommendable to those who have small business co'z we never know what would happen next specially with today's competition.

My baby and Music

As a mom to my lovely one year old daughter Ziah,  I felt like I'm planning my baby's life and think that it looks like not right at all. I should be praying for it not planning it.

This is me: I want my daughter to be like her daddy who is good with music. Hubby knows how to play guitar and he's good at it. He also sings well and I would like my baby to be like that. I want her to learn how to play guitar, play a Roland Keyboards or just any keyboard, play bass and can also do drums.

See....? I told yah... I feel like a "just do it" mom and I don't like it.

Friends and houses

..with my friend Jiji's house since yesterday. My daughter Ziah and I went there for a sleepover since our Daddy was not coming home last night. I had some fun because I was with a friend and it really feels good to have a girl friend who is near. We cooked, we ate, watched tv, did some long chat about life in general (our lives) and a lot of other girly stuff.

We both love to decorate our house (our way). hahaha. So every now and then we talked about what we're gonna do first, buy first, renovate first with our house. She told me she would install cabinets soon, while as for me I told her that I might buy an oven first early even without the house first so that by the time we move we have a new one already. Well, I might also needs some strapping tools for whatever purpose it may serve me as I pack and unpack my thing for moving and settling.

I hope and pray that God will give us favor and grants us our hearts desires.

Tortang Talong for dinner

I'm making tortang talong, talong+tuna omelet and mushroom soup for dinner. I just hope and pray the result will be good. The picture I posted here is not mine actually co'z I haven't started cooking yet. I just grab it from google tortang talong images.

Pros and cons

I don't drink coffee that much these days co'z my doctor told me so. Not to drink coffee is just one of those she told me that to do and it means there's more. I'm doing good right now my body stop asking for more caffeine, but the first week was not that very co'z it made so irritable. Poor hubby co'z he's mostly the recipient of my  "coffee/caffeine  withdrawal".
Drinking coffee is just the same with smoking cigars... we get mostly the bad effect. At least with coffee we could still see some good hope specially now that there new research found that coffee is in fact to health. Probably if we take it moderately just like using alec bradley. I am just thankful that I don't do both. A friend of mine's family (mostly the male) are a fan of cigars.

A fireplace and a tv stand

I soo like this one. If only I live in a cold country I probably would save money to buy this one. This is so nice and less space. You could be warming up in a cold night while watching tv programs. You could also just put this in your bed room and get warmed.

I wish I could have a fireplace tv stand  I just don't know when and how. There is no way I would be buying that here the Philippines co'z it still hot and humid even in rainy days. Or I might have this if I choose to live up in the mountains where it really gets really cold. But there is no way I'll be doing that co'z I don't have anything to do there.

But what I would really want to do is... to have this in room we are going to rent when we will visit Sagada again.

Real Flame Lannon Entertainment Center with Electric Fireplace

Beads and accessories!

I have a box full of  beads and accessories. I just don't wear it co'z I don't go anywhere a lot and my baby would just pull it  from me. There was this one time when I wore a bracelet to church and my baby played with it while we were at the bus. She kept on pulling it until it  breaks and the beads scattered on the bus floor. Then if she sees that I have earrings on my ears, she would climb up to me to get that thing on my ear. So now... I just stopped wearing any accessories aside from my wedding ring.

Well women are born to wear accessories I think co'z its always good to have a charm bracelet dangling on your wrist. I actually have a few bracelet that again I don't wear these days. maybe when my baby get older I might wear those again.

Beef Mechado

I'm thinking of cooking beef mechado. I just can't to get beef meat co'z there is none in here (I mean the little house market here in our place).

I went online last to see what I need to buy if in case I'll get to the supermarket.
This is what I found from: Panlasang Pinoy.com

Recipe:
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 piece large onion, sliced
2 lbs beef chuck,cubed
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 cup water
3 tbsp cooking oil
1 slice lemon with rind
1 piece large potato, cubed
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 pcs. bay leaves (laurel)
salt to taste

Here's how to cook it:
Heat cooking oil in a pan then saute the garlic and onion.
Put-in the beef and saute for about 3 minutes or until color turns light brown
Add the tomato sauce and water then simmer until the meat is tender. Add water as needed
Add the soy sauce, ground black pepper, lemon rind, laurel leaves, and salt then simmer until excess liquid evaporates
Put-in the potatoes and cook until the potatoes are soft (about 15 to 25 minutes)
Place in a serving plate then serve hot with rice. Share and Enjoy!

I will definitely post pictures soon.

Praying for a cake from Luisa and Sons

Honestly, I haven't tasted a chocolate cake like luisa and sons cake. Good news is they are just right here in Imus, but the not so good news is... their cake is quite expensive, but every bite is a sure delight.

I just hope and pray the soon enough someone in the house would buy a cake like this again. I repeat it again... hopefully soon!

My fave hobby: eating :)

Fixing leather couch

I love leather couches but  I'm hesitant to go for it co'z it feels like when it's ruined it's ruined forever and there's no way it will be fixed. I don't know though where I  get this thinking, maybe because all the leather couches that my friends have has tears and cuts and it remains that way until they throw it away. So I told myself not to buy a leather couch even though I like the comfort it gives.

But somehow, something has change that thinking, I never knew that you can still fix a busted leather thing, and if you want to know how see here at leather world tech and you'll be happy for what you've found. I think I might  I want to get a leather couch now for my new house. Actually I really wish that our house is big so that I'll be able to put more furnitures.

Ooh... that you satisfy my heart oh Lord!

Was a bit Disappointed

Last two weeks a midst of a long queue in one of the NSO express center, I was there patiently waiting for my turn to apply for my baby's authenticated birth certificate.  About more than a week ago I was online filling up a an application form for a new passport not mine but my little girl. We were given today to do it and we were excited to go since yesterday.

We went to bed  at about two thirty this morning and woke at six, prepare ourselves, and then went to the DFA office. There were loads of people in the entrance gate waiting for their turn to enter but as for me and hubby, we have no problem entering at all because of the baby. But to our dismay we remember that we forgot to bring her birth certificate and it's almost our time, so there is really no time for us to go back and get it.

So there's nothing we can really do but went back home again and thinking of applying for another schedule. How we wish though that we have a car at least a nissan truck so that in times like this we'll be able to go back and get things and return quickly too, unlike when we take public utility vehicles. If I have nissan car for sure I'll look for Nissan Truck Accessories to put in my car just like some of my friends does.

Wish I have you... car!

Joy Ride!

I am thankful that even though we don't have a car, we still have a motorbike. It may not give us comfort while riding it co'z we always get dirty through air pollution and everything but it does brings us to our destination with no much traffic.  It's just stressful riding it when other vehicles are around co'z it makes me nervous.

Hubby and I went "joy ride" again yesterday. It has been a long time since we did it. Its fun as always. My helmet is two years or  more old already and I really would like to buy a new one like Shoei RF-1100 co'z mine is not only smells weird it also has a broken lock.

Amen for today!

I was  browsing on facebook and saw this, I thought of posting it on my blog
in the hope that it too will inspires others today as it did to me.
I really believe that when God want's you to do something
and you're hands are set to do it, no matter who will oppose you
will never succeed for God is with you.

Hold on everyone... God's takes wheel!

Flute+english horn=guitar

Tomorrow night I will go with hubby to Paul's place where the music recording is being done. We are thinking of bringing our baby though but might anymore co'z it's not good for her to stay up late and besides we're just taking the bike(our motorbike) co'z it's cheaper that way too. But definitely we will going to miss her and even now as I type this post, the thought of leaving here made me miss her already.

Hubby told me that when he was young he used to play the flute and later on he wishes to learn how to play the english horn, yet since the latter is quite have a price hubby never had gotten the chance to even just hold one. Now, hubby is a good lead guitar player. he can also play acoustic very good. :)

Hubby and his gadget-ey!

Hubby and his band is doing progress when talking about their music recording. I never knew that it takes ages to do music records, it's never an easy thing specially when you want quality. Having Richie (a guy name) and Paul (another guy name) lol! to help the band starts it recording is indeed a blessing from heaven. After ten years of waiting and praying to make this thing happen, and living in it now is indeed another dream fulfillment. God is indeed alive and working to grant us our dreams.

Hubby on the other hand is (I don't know how to call it) busy cleaning, wiping, polishing his guitars and is always eager to go to Paul's house for the recording. I never seen hubby so happy after this "meeting-Paul and Richie-plus-music recording" thing. May it be early or late coming home from recording... hubby is always has loads of amazing stories to tell. I hope though that he would try using  hagerty silver polish for his guitars so that he wouldn't be spending all his times holding, examining, polishing his guitar co'z it rocked me to my core and yelled at him (soo annoying!).

Anyways, the band together with their wives (not that the band has many wives, but what I mean is.. the band member wife.. just stressing it. lol!) are all excited for this coming Sunday Night... co'z it's mean recording time again. :) We are all excited to visits Paul and his wife and their house and of course we are excited to see Bernard too.

Recipe's, Cooking, and Life

I am not a pro chef but I do love to cook in my own special way. I probably a chef in my hubby's co'z I'm the one who always cook. Hubby would go hungry if I'm not in the house, reason why every dish I make seems all good with him. I cooked fish and veggies the last and I know that it would the last thing that would hubby will have, but since he had no choices and hungry, he did ate a bunch of it, then told his siblings that it was good (it made me smile).

This fish and vegetable recipe is the most least like of all my recipes (both of hubby and his siblings), but actually if you have to ask me if I like it, I could look at you in the eyes and say... yes! I  love it. I love fish and I love veggies, but I seldom cook it co'z there's always loads of left overs whenever I do.  Then it would take days to ate it. Good thing though hubby's mom eat fish, and she is the one who ate leftovers food.

Right now, I feel like baking chocolate cakes, chocolate cookies, chocolate brownies or anything about chocolates. It's not that I'm a chocoholic kind of person because I am not, I'm inspired by the chocolate cake that sister in-law for her birthday last night. I  soo love it that I want more of it. Ii promise myself that when the we're through of paying some credit this year, I definitely will buy a new oven next year. I just can't buy one this time because I have no space to place it.  I can wait.

My cooking style and some of my recipes are posted in her though, and in fact one friend of mine who lives in Canada told me once that he would visit my blog time after time to see some Filipino-day-to-day recipe where he could cook at home. I am glad as well as worried that he might not able to do it co'z I used local names of the fish and veggies that I use co'z I have no idea what it's "American name" if there is. But anyways, He told me, he was able to try cooking some of my recipes.

Sometimes life is like cooking your favorite recipe, you thought you have cooked it right but it came out not the right taste expected. Sometimes its tastier than the first but most of the time though... you get disappointed on how it turn out. Yet... with all of  my cooking experience, I found out that it's all boils on how your heart feels. The cooking may turn out not good but when your heart is right... everything will turn out just very fine :).

Not happy but not mad

This was taken when during her 8 month birthday. She haven't tried ice cream yet but for the sake of a photo shoot, we put some ice cream on her mouth to look like she won the ice cream fight. Lol! by the look in her face she doesn't like the idea at all.

(fierce look: "that thing on my mouth is cold")

Start with yourself

Moments to give devotional by Robert Strand

When I was young and free and my imaginations has no limits,
I dreamed of changing the world.
As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change,
so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.
But it, too, seemed immovable.

As I grew into my twilight years,
in one last desperate attempt,
I settled for changing only my family,
those closest to me, but alas,
they would have none of it.
And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize:
If I had only changed myself first,
Then by example I would have changed my family.

From their inspiration and encouragement,
I would have been able to better my country  and,
who knows,
I may have even changed the world. (-anonymous)

"Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them
into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rocks."
-Matt. 7:24

SELAH band

My hubby's band is in need of...

... a "Home Studio Recording" to use for their recording. Hubby's band mates are all church workers and as a church worker they don't get much money, but I am not saying that they are not blessed because they may be lacking in financial thing and other material thing I know for sure and a witness that they are truly blessed because the Lord never forsakes them.

Anyhow, to those who have more in terms of financial and has a heart in helping Christian bands to pursue their dreams and would like to donate some of these:
1.audio interface(AUDIO BOX USB)=149.00 USD
2.condenser microphone(MXL 990)=139.00 USD
3.monitor speakers(PM0.4n Powered Studio Monitors)=159.00 USD
4.mic stand and mic cable=50.00USD
But if you buy this altogether in a promo package it just 319.99 USD.

You could also include a Roland Drums co'z the drummer is in need of one also for as we know though he can use the church's drums but he can only use it at church but when they are invited outside of church he can't bring it with him which is really hard for the band to do concerts.

Their band's name is "SELAH"-this band sings and worship lead whenever they are called/asked to do so. One of their dream is to do concerts outside the Philippines. When this things happens, it means fulfillment of a dream and a promise. These band/team are not regular outstanding people co'z each one has an amazing/life changing testimony of how the Lord has change their chaotic and hopeless life into a meaningful one.

Thinking of bundling

I have installed a lot of software in my computer actually in the hope that I'll be able to earn more from my online job. Yet in my pursuit of getting more it seems my computer is getting slow, so slow. It actually irritates me whenever I turn my computer on co'z it takes ages sometimes like five minutes before it totally good for doing business. Just imagine if I'm in a total hurry and just have a minute or two to get files in my computer and yet it's not opening up, imagine how it drives me crazy.

Hubby is thinking of uninstalling some unusable softwares in my computer and I might let him do some very soon though, and if my comp is free of some space I might again see this and do some bundling installing and let's see what's this software has for me.

Today..

*Friends just went home: they came home with us yesterday evening  and stayed for the night co'z they missed their God daughter whom they haven't seen for a long time.

*I'm about to take shower again co'z I feel really hot and sweaty (not to mention though that I just had my shower like three hours ago and now I want to do it again).

*Is craving for a chicken joy. So hubby and his sister went to buy a bucket of it for dinner. My tummy is grumbling as I wrote this post.

*Lara (sister in-law) just got back for doing a scholarship test in TIP. Now, we are really hoping and praying that the result will bring good news. Without the scholarship, sister in-law will not able to continue a college degree. She hope she'll able to pass the Accountancy full scholarship from TIP. Accountancy was not really her first choice of course nor the nursing course even though wearing a nursing uniforms is really a fashion, but she applied for accountancy scholarship anyway, in hope that she'll able to get the full scholarship.

*My body is aching specially my back part. I really feel that I need a good whole body massage. I just don't know though when this thing would happen.

Let's help them win!

The Bike

This bike's picture below is of hubby before we got married, this was given to him by our beloved youth pastor at church to helped them visit people specially the youth. It's really hard to do visitation ministry with this kind of weather hot and humid. Praise God for the one who sees the needs of his workers and does something about it.

This bike is now in the hand of my in-laws, and since no one really needs it for now, it's just resting in front of our house waiting for some one to cleanse her and use her. Wish we could get a bike rack at bike rack at cracksandracks.com  to park bike while no one uses her yet.  This bike is rusty already and  has flat tires. So sad I know. :(

College friends reunion

The hubbiness and yours truly met up with college mates last night at Robinson's Place Manila. We haven't seen each other for a long time and in fact the last time we saw each other was at my wedding almost four years ago, but one of them we saw six years ago.Last night  feels just like one of those college days we have. We really haven't change that much, we only look older and maturer, but our attitude towards each other didn't change at all.

We went to Racks restaurant for dinner and we ordered a food package for 6 courtesy by Juber my friend who just came from Dubai. The food was great and also the fellowship and the great loud laughs we have. We almost not able to consume all the food co'z there were loads. They even teased my sexy hubby because he was the only thin person among us six people. My friends even pleaded him to eat more so to help us not to eat more which was very funny.

It got me thinking though the negative and positive effect of being thin and chubby. When you are in the minus size people make fun of you when you are around plus size people, and its the same thing when you are a plus size and around the minus size. How I wish hubby could indeed do some working and some myotest as a supplement to bring his body to the next level. Lol!

Family bonding

Family went to church together last Sunday, then went straight to jollibee cash and carry for lunch. We avail the graduate bucket promo co'z we have a graduate here (tita Lara graduated from high school).
Actually the highlight of the day was this little girl who became static during this lunch time.  She really was enjoying herself, she did some funny face, and moves and sounds.
She made us all happy!
